Acceptance and operator
These Terms form an agreement between you and Immigracia Visa Consulting Inc., operator of Canada Immigration Research. By using the website, creating an account or purchasing access, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Research and Legal Advice Disclaimer, Copyright and Permitted-Use Policy, and Cancellation and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract. You must provide accurate account information, keep access credentials secure and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. One membership is for one individual user and may not be shared, transferred, resold or used to give others access.
Membership, price and renewal
Membership provides limited, revocable, read-only access to the protected research library for the applicable paid term. The first 30 paid members are offered an introductory price of $29.99 CAD for their first year, plus applicable GST/HST and a 3% credit card processing fee. Their membership then renews at the regular price of $49.99 CAD per year, plus applicable GST/HST and the 3% credit card processing fee. Members joining after the first 30 pay $49.99 CAD from the start. Unless cancelled, membership renews automatically one year from the purchase date. Current billing information shown at checkout and in your account controls if it differs from general website copy.
Cancellation, refunds and billing
You may cancel automatic renewal through Manage Membership in your account. Cancellation normally leaves access active until the end of the paid term. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated in the Cancellation and Refund Policy. You authorize our payment processor to charge the disclosed membership amount, the separately disclosed 3% credit card processing fee and applicable taxes according to the selected membership terms.
Permitted use
You may search, view and use the library for your own internal research, education or professional reference. You may make limited quotations where lawful, necessary and properly attributed, provided the quotation does not substitute for membership or disclose substantial parts of the collection. More detailed rules appear in the Copyright and Permitted-Use Policy.
Prohibited conduct
You must not share credentials; reproduce, republish, sell, license or distribute library content; systematically download, scrape, crawl, index or extract records; use automated tools to build a competing dataset, model or service; bypass access controls; upload malicious code; interfere with the service; impersonate another person; or use the website unlawfully. You also must not remove source, date, copyright or rights notices.
Research content is not legal advice
The service provides general research information only. It does not provide legal advice and does not create an RCIC-client, consultant-client, fiduciary or other professional relationship. Immigration information changes frequently and may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. Read the full Research and Legal Advice Disclaimer before relying on any material.
Availability, changes and third-party sources
We may add, remove, correct, reorganize or restrict content and may perform maintenance or suspend features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that any particular record will remain accessible. Government documents, links and third-party materials remain subject to their respective source terms and rights.
Enforcement and termination
We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, legal rights or security. Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Termination for a material breach may occur without a refund, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Immigracia Visa Consulting Inc. and its directors, officers and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for an immigration, business or professional decision made using the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid for membership in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Governing law, changes and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Courts located in British Columbia will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right to bring a claim elsewhere. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. We may update these Terms prospectively; material changes will be communicated reasonably. Questions may be sent to ankitagoyal@immigracia.ca.
